Public Notice – Budget Committee Vacancies

Budget Committee

The City of Myrtle Point currently has two vacancies on the Budget Committee.  The Budget Committee is made up of seven residents of the City of Myrtle Point at large, along with the Mayor and City Council.  The Budget Committee meets annually, typically twice, to review and approve the proposed budget.  The approved budget then is presented to the City Council for adoption.  Budget Committee members are appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council for terms of three years.

Persons interested in filling one of the vacancies should submit a letter of interest to City Hall.  For more information please contact City Manager Darin Nicholson at (541) 572-2626 or manager@ci.myrtlepoint.or.us (link sends e-mail).
